thepokerfilm is a project concieved by Nat Arem and film-maker Eric Strauss. Online poker has created some of the richest self-made young people in the world. We want to document their lives and give the world an inside look into this incredible niche community. Hopefully "TPF: Team Domeski" is the first of many to come.

• May 10, 2008, 1:57 am: Longtime No Update
  A lot has happened in the last six months! We've been in contact with a production company to possible take a version of thepokerfilm and turn it into a TV show. While that is obviously a long shot, you never know. We had to take down the content from YouTube because of a CardRunners request, but we plan on relisting the videos sometime soon. We also have some unreleased content that we'll be putting out one of these days, so stay tuned.

  We've added another bonus clip, this one featuring yellowsub86 playing 200-400 PLO on Full Tilt while drunk.


• November 3, 2007, 5:35 pm: The film has been released!

• October 30, 2007, 4:31 am: Latest Release Info
  I am comfortable saying that we will be releasing a 35 min full documentary by November 9th at the latest. It will probably be earlier in the week, but it will certainly be after November 5th. Thanks for being patient!


• October 11, 2007, 1:33 am: release plans
  We've revised our release plans. At one point, we were going to do 6 or 7 clips of 5 minutes. After getting feedback from numerous people and forums, we've decided to changed it up and make the rest of the film one large clip.
  
  What does this mean? It means we're going to take a little longer to release everything. And we're sorry about that. But we want this to be as widely seen as possible and the clip format just wasn't going to work.
  
  We are going to set an official release date in the near future. Stay tuned.

  We've released another clip. You can view it here. This clip isn't part of the series itself, but since it didn't require any editing, we are able to release it as we work on "thepokerfilm: part two."

• October 3, 2007, 4:55 pm: First Clip
  We will be releasing our first clip on or before Friday October 12th. Among other things, the first clip will introduce Team Domeski.


• October 1, 2007, 11:39 pm: New Website
  The new website is out! (you're on it right now). We're excited to get the first few clips out and we plan to release a schedule of dates sometime this week.

  Thanks for all of the positive feedback on the trailer on forums all over the place! We're working on our first clip and a new website. We'll announce release dates as soon as possible.

Team Domeski is made up of four college-aged poker players who live in a house together in Athens, GA. The four players are: Taylor "tbthanx" Bell, Nick "Stoweski" Stowe, Taylor "tdomeski" Douglas and Jeff "yellowsub86" Williams. "TPF: Team Domeski" is, simply, about their lives as some of the most successful online poker players in the world.
